Omanaya is a new role of community leadership specializing in Jewish ritual
and prayer, initiated via hamakom institute in Israel.
Omanaya is the "ritual
artist" whose art form is the creation of ritual and prayer events for life-cycle
milestones, holy days and other transitional times.
Our intention is to
create meaningful, individualized ritual events that are both contemporarily
relevant and are well-rooted in the Jewish, and more ancient - Hebraic -
tradition. We re-source the Hebraic in order to tap the essence of our ancestral
ways: awakening to direct experience of the divine, the sensuous & sacred
body, in tune with mother earth.
These leaders engage feminine pathways
of process and leadership, midwifing transformative processes for both individuals
and communities.
